I just completely freaked out at seeing Adam Ant stuff in kink_bingo! I was this close to writing Adam Ant fic for this myself (modern Adam, who's still fit as all hell).
I hope you like it (also, *squee* someone else knows who he is). My intention had been to do an entire Blackout of just Adam Ant (which is totally my justification for having over 1000 pictures of Adam saved onto my computer) but sadly RL got in the way. Maybe I'll get it all made during Amnesty.
I went to see him live a couple of times earlier this year, I'm so utterly in love with that man! Oh please who needs justification for that kind of thing? It sounds perfectly reasonable to me! RL's a bugger like that, isn't it? I'm hoping to be able to try my hand at a few more fandoms during Amnesty myself, so perhaps I'll still manage to use him for something.
Ever since I heard he was touring again, I've been absolutely obsessed with him (again... didn't I go through this a decade or two ago?). I've got my fingers crossed that he'll be coming to the States once he releases Adam Ant is The Blueblack Hussar in Marrying the Gunner's Daughter, and realises he still has fans over here. Otherwise, I'm afraid I just might have to make a trip to the UK... which will officially be the farthest I've ever traveled for a concert ^_~.
He is far too easy to become obsessed with, especially given how incredible he's looking and sounding again. I know he's said he plans to come to America so hopefully. lol, sometimes you just have to do these things. I once went to Paris to see Depeche Mode.
